01Which payment methods can supporters use?
Available options include bKash, Nagad, Upay, bank transfer, Visa, Mastercard, M-Cash, and PayPal. The methods shown can vary by region.
02Can supporters send donations from outside Bangladesh?
Tipzy supports local and international payment routes. Supporters see the options available for their location at checkout.
03What kinds of interactive donations can I send?
Choose from four formats: Tipzy, standard donations with a message; Jumpscares, audio or visual surprise alerts; Custom Stickers, animated loot-style alerts; and Challenges, donations tied to a task for the creator.
04Can I get a refund for a donation?
Once a Tipzy, Jumpscare, or Sticker has triggered on stream, it is considered delivered and cannot be refunded. If a Challenge is rejected or not completed, the eligible amount can be partially returned to your Tipzy Wallet after processing fees.
05What happens if I dispute a valid donation with my bank?
A chargeback for a valid transaction is treated as friendly fraud and immediately suspends the Tipzy account. Tipzy will contest the dispute using delivery logs, timestamps, and available stream or overlay replay records.
06Can a creator skip or reject my donation?
Creators can moderate their streams by skipping or muting alerts, or banning donors who break their content rules. A message skipped for a rules violation is not eligible for a refund.
07What is the total Tipzy platform fee?
Tipzy applies one flat 12% platform fee across donation types. It covers payment routing, infrastructure, security, and real-time processing, with no hidden Tipzy platform charges.
08Can creators lower their platform fee?
Tipzy applies the same flat 12% platform fee to all creators. There are no separate partner-program fee rates.
09Are payment processing fees refunded when a Challenge fails?
Third-party processors do not return their transaction fees. If a Challenge is rejected or fails, the eligible amount is credited to your Tipzy Wallet after those fees are deducted. For example, a ৳100 donation with ৳15 in processing fees returns ৳85 to your wallet.
10Where can I track donations and payouts?
Your creator dashboard brings tips, refunds, and payouts together in a ledger, with payout history for reference.
11How do I withdraw my Creator earnings?
Once your Tipzy Wallet balance reaches the ৳500 minimum, request a payout from your dashboard to your registered bank account, bKash, or Nagad number.
12How long does a payout take?
Tipzy processes withdrawals within 3–5 business days. Your bank or an intermediary financial institution may add delays outside Tipzy's control.
13Do I need to pay taxes on my earnings?
You are responsible for declaring and paying any taxes that apply where you live. Tipzy is a technology provider, not an employer, and does not withhold taxes or issue tax documents on your behalf.
14Will I need to verify my identity before getting paid?
To help prevent fraud and money laundering, Tipzy may ask Creators for a government-issued ID for KYC before releasing a payout. If required documents are not provided, funds may be temporarily held.
15Which overlay resolutions does Tipzy support?
Tipzy overlays are ready for four common setups: 1080p Landscape, 1080p Vertical, 2K Landscape, and 2K Vertical. They cover layouts used with Twitch, YouTube, Kick, and TikTok Live.
16Is the overlay service guaranteed to stay online?
We work to keep Tipzy available, but uninterrupted service is not guaranteed and maintenance may occasionally be needed. Keep a fallback alert setup ready, especially during planned maintenance.
17Is Tipzy affiliated with Twitch, YouTube, or Kick?
No. Tipzy is an independent third-party tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Twitch, YouTube, or Kick. Tipzy is not responsible for revenue loss resulting from an account ban on those platforms.
18What is the minimum age to use Tipzy?
You must be at least 10 to register as a Creator or withdraw funds. Anyone under 10 may only use Tipzy as a Donor with explicit parental consent.
