Using Tipzy
Tipzy helps supporters interact with creators through Tipzy messages and challenges. Use the service in line with these terms, the Content Policy and the rules presented for the feature you choose. The Privacy Policy explains the information involved, and the Refund Policy explains delivered standard Tipzy support and rejected-challenge wallet credits.
When you use Tipzy’s YouTube-connected features, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. You can remove Tipzy’s access through Google Account permissions; see the YouTube API Services section of our Privacy Policy for more information.
Your account and public identity
You must sign in to send a Tipzy or challenge. Use your own account, keep your login secure and do not impersonate another person. Contact support if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
Your saved account name is shown by default. You may choose a nickname or Anonymous where offered. This public-name choice does not remove your account’s connection to the payment or wallet activity.
Amounts, payments and submissions
Review the creator, BDT amount, public name and submitted text before completing payment. The creator minimum and other limits shown in the sending interface apply to your submission. Follow the instructions shown by your chosen payment provider.
Standard Tipzy support is a digital service completed when its alert is triggered on the creator’s stream. Delivered Tipzy support is non-refundable, subject to rights required by applicable law. Rejected Challenges follow the separate wallet-refund rule in the Refund Policy.
Do not use another person’s payment details without authorization. A concern about a payment should be reported with its transaction reference so the correct record can be reviewed.
Challenges are requests
Sending a challenge does not guarantee acceptance. Creators decide which requests to take on. Do not use payment to pressure someone into unsafe, illegal or prohibited activity.
If a challenge is rejected, the amount returns to the sender’s Tipzy Wallet for future Tipzy messages or challenges. Read the Refund Policy for the distinction between this wallet credit and other payment issues.
Use the platform responsibly
You are responsible for the content you submit and for having the right to share it. Do not harass people, mislead other users, interfere with the service or attempt to bypass its rules. Content that conflicts with the Content Policy may be restricted or removed.
